The bottle is the problem, not the detergent

Liquid detergent is roughly 70 to 80 percent water, which means a 3 L bottle is mostly something you already have piped into your home. The consequences are familiar: the bottle is heavy to carry, it takes up a third of the shelf under the sink, the cap drips down the side, and the measuring cup is never where you left it. Over-pouring is universal, and over-pouring is why so many loads come out with residue in the fabric and a faintly stiff hand.

Detergent sheets remove the water, the bottle, the cap and the cup. Each sheet is a dry, compressed, pre-dosed film of concentrated surfactant and enzymes. One sheet is a standard load; two for a large or heavily soiled load. You drop it in the drum, put the laundry on top, and start the machine. There is nothing to measure, nothing to wipe, and nothing to store upright.

The dissolution question is the one that matters, and it's where the formulation work went. These sheets are engineered to break down fully in cold water — at 20 °C and below — because a sheet that only dissolves properly at 40 °C is useless for the majority of modern washes. In a cold cycle the sheet disintegrates within the first minute of drum movement and leaves no film on fabric and no residue in the drawer.

Why laundry day gets shorter

How to use

1. Place laundry in the drum first for a front loader, or add water first for a top loader.
2. Drop one sheet directly into the drum — not into the detergent drawer. Placing it in the drawer is the single most common cause of incomplete dissolution.
3. Add laundry on top of the sheet.
4. Run your normal cycle. Use two sheets for loads over 6 kg, for heavily soiled items, or in hard water.
